Is it ok, to Urinate in the Showers???

I've been urinating during showers for years, never knowing whether it's right or wrong, does anyone have a justification that they can back, with facts? I've never really considered the social tolerability of peeing while taking a shower, in the shower, i mean it all goes into the same place right,???
