Is it alright and ok to give a proffessor a recomendation on LinkedIn after I graduated, saying that they were the best proffessor in my field that I met at my time in college, and they wre the one that fully inspired me to be part of the field that I am in?

First, a "Pro-f-essor" is not a "they." Second, if I was this professor, I would ask that you not leave a comment based on a lack of basic English. Third, you might want to see if you can get a refund on your college education. Or, you could just use spell and grammar check.

If it is a hypothetical professor without a stated/known sex, then yes, they is a they.
