This has got to be a parody.

If not, what would make you think this was a good idea?

If so, it's fine.

I don't know...

it was wrapped in some sort of brown-paper type thing and then shrinkwrapped in plastic.

is any kind of beef usually ok at room temp if it's sealed?

Jerkey is normally stored at room temperature.

If it was still sealed it probably was ok. You could take a look at the packaging and see if it says refridgerate anywhere, etc.

Or call the vendor (cust service line) and ask.

should be fine till a month Aftere the exp date,if Unopened.

Refrigerate after you cut it open tho.

Bet that would mmake an Awesome hot grilled sandwich,
cut it up like peperoni slices, grill it for about 1 min,put on warm bread, with some good cheese. MMMM yummy!!

A couple of friends in college gave me a beef log for my birthday one year. It was 1 foot of beef byproducts and msg. Considering that they had left it in the back window of their car for 3 October days there was no way I was going to eat any of it.

So I did what any rational college student would do. I stuffed it down the front of my pants, tied the top end if it to my belt, and went for a walk around the dorms.

The scary thing is that in the coed dorm none of the girls noticed, but *all* of the guys noticed.

Edit: Beef Log
