Is it ok to drink beer after hard stuff?

I know you are not supposed to drink one after the other, but i can't remember which one. If I had vodka, is it ok to drink beer afterwards? You can get sick somehow. i don't want to be sick .

I wouldn't, at least right away. Give the hard stuff a little while to kick in so you know where you're at before you switch to beer. If you want more to drink after you've "leveled off," than a beer or three is usually fine.

Is it wrong to drink alone? i am drinking by myself, but does that make me an alchoholic? I am having a party tommorow. My parents went out of town, leaving me with house for 1 week. I feel bad about drinking, but it's not like i do it all the time. barely ever. Is this wrong. Do any of you drink alone. I am wasted now. No one here to share the fun. do i need help? god. i feel bad inside. i don't want to stoop this low, but there is nothing to cdo. i don't think drinking is wrong unless domne too much. i do it maybe once a month. i live down south, and it is accepted in the culture. i don't know what you other people are like. i think i feel lonely. i have friends, but i donlt know. i can't believe i a m posting all of this stuff about me. i am not an alchoholic, nor a redneck. i think i am just another 17 yr old, abpout to turn 18. do i need help.?

too much of anything will make you sick, no matter the order. hell, if you drink enough water, you're gonna puke eventually.

i DONT do anything illegal. i guess i am underage so its illegal, but wtf? i know it is wrong, but i think i think it is ok. i would never drive. people at my party are staying here for the night. god i feel so alone,. do any of you know what it's like? i need to talk. im not suicidal or anything, but i think that i am deparessed. its almost beautifel. everthing is ok.

Try Irish Car Bombs!

1 shot dunked into 1/2-pint Guiness
the shot:
3/4 Whiskey
1/4 Bailey's (whiskey first)

Instructions:
1. Give a cheers to something
2. Drop shot glass into 1/2-pint Guiness
3. Slam it.

Since Guiness is thicker than pea-soup you'll barely notice the shot, but damn it'll get ya wrecked. I love 'em.

Drinking alone once in a while doesn't mean you an Alc. Just watch it and don't let it become a habit. Trust me, you DON'T want to be a member of my club. Being able to drink everyone under the table and then some seems cool at first, but only at first...

But what should really be never mixed -- wine with vodka. Never.

Drinking alone is ok, every once in a while. If I can't get anyone to go do something on a nice friday night or something, and am feeling a bit lonely, I will have a few drinks. Once those hit, I just lay down in the bed, all nice and relaxed, and just surf the internet. By that time, I don't really care that I couldn't get anyone to do anything.

That is a prety rare occasion though.

As far as what to drink, I don't particularly like beer, I go with some hard stuff, and some wine sometimes, but I find that if you drink the hard stuff, and plenty of water to go along with it, you get the best drunkeness, in the sense that you don't feel bad at all.

I once downed 6 shots of rum in a 1.5 hour period, all straight shots, and drank water in between. I was still walking prety straight, but was bumping into stuff. I didn't feel a thing the next day.

One warning though....don't do more than 1 shot of the straight hard stuff at once.......otherwise it really burns... (I did a half a glass once.....all i can say, is MAN.)

And don't drink to get sick....just take it slowly, and stop when you start to not feel so great. The one time I have felt bad the next day was after I had wiskey. That stuff sucks, I won't even touch it now.


On another note, take everyone's keys when they come into the party, and hide them somewhere. You really really don't want people driving off drunk, they would love to sue the living crap out of you if they got in a wreck.
