My mainecoon is 15lbs and growing, yes she is fat.

Every picture I see of mainecoons, they are fat, so is it normal and healthy to be fat?

It is funny because mainecoons are the first cats to originate from America, from european descendents of course and they are fat.

They are so cute and cuddly though

I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be that big. As long as your vet doesn't see anything wrong with it I wouldn't worry. Besides, the best qualities of an animal are fat, fluffy, and furry.

Check with a vet, you don't want him getting cat diabetes. You might need to switch to a light catfood.

Make him as fat as possible so he can't move himself.. Then he's a warm pillow whether he likes it or not.

/jk..

I love my girlfriend's ragdoll cat. He's big.. but not fat.

my cat is funny, maincoons hate to be lapcats, i heard because of their size

but every night when I goto bed i pick her up and put her on my chest on her back, she is so fat she has a hard time turning over

even with all her fatness she can still jump on a bed that is 4 feet high!
