Is it normal?

My PSU sometimes makes a buzz sound...it last about 3-4 seconds ... its an Enermax 535W SLI ready... 🙁

If it's an electronic buzz, that is not a good sign.

Might be a fan bearing saying"bye-bye" of it might just chatter when ramping up as load is being put on the PSU.

Could be as minor as a loose wire touching a fan.

Are you sure it's the PSU?? Have you checked all your other fans??

Found a post saying is a normal behaviour on many Enermax units 😀

I have a Enermax EG565P-VE FMA 535W Power Supply and it is dead silent. There is no buzz whatsoever. I agree with GalvanizedYankee, check for other issues and do not assume it is normal.

It's probably nothing, minor whining or buzzing between electrical components is not uncommon and not and indication of a problem or low quality. Unless it's loud enough to bother you let it be.

Relion, I would email Enermax Tech Support and post their reply.

If your hearing it over all your many case fans and it is the PSU it deservers further investigation. Your call 😀
