im running xp pro, also anyone got some tips on o/c this 6800 ultra? it seems if i go over 435 core i get freezes n some ppl have like 470 core on a gt flashed to ultra.....do i need to up the voltage? my bios lets me have a 1.5 or 1.6 voltage for agp....

The problem can not be your OS, as i am using win xp pro, with my radeon 9800 pro win full agp 8X. As for the overclocking, it is luck of the draw. Some will get a card that goes up 25% more then the regular core speed. Others will get a card that wont go up 5mhz. It is all luck of the draw.

It's not normal - update your motherboard BIOS & chipset drivers. Also stop overclocking as it could be pushing the AGP out of spec which causes it to run slower.

Since whan is overclocking guaranteed? Did I miss the the introduction of that new rule?
