When I log on to the egg, the pictures don't come up and the full page heading doesn't present. Could this be me or is the Egg having server problems?

I was having problems with Newegg a couple weeks ago; it turned out to be an extension in firefox.

Newegg has a site feature that takes out all the pictures and graphics to make things load faster, you can enable this by clicking a link on the main page. I forget how to disable it, I think it just turns off by itself or you click a link.

update your web browser ive seen it where theres a "lite version" of newegg due to someting with IE being old.

love these machines - work fine one day, and the next - bonkers - I'm beginning to suspect browser hijack. Yesterday, I clicked on my chase credit card accouint in response to an e-mail from them (authentic e-mail, met all specs) and the first page that came up looked like Chase bank but had no security elements and a flaky address. Pushed refresh the page and the proper Chase page came up. I didn't enter UID's or passwords on either page.
