When you have a baby, you don't feel like going out anymore..

My wife and I used to go out to clubs alot and now all I wanna do when I get home is see my little girl. It's kinda cool now that she is more responsive. We even took family pictures this weekend and, YES, she did smile finally!!!
I gave the photographer 20 bucks and told her that she was the first person to get my daughter to smile in her pictures! She was very grateful!

My brother-in-law and his wife can't say the same unfortunately. That's all they ever want to do and they can't, so they pretty much hate life. I say it's their own fault, it's not a wise idea to try to get pregnant when you've just turned 18. Now it's two years later and the wife is unhappy, so they're breaking up. I feel bad for the baby.

That makes me sad to hear stuff like that as my daughter means more to me than anything!

I used to go out quite a bit, and my wife and I did a bunch when we were going out. But when we had a kid, yeah, we hang out more at home, but there's nothing better than spending time with my little girl. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!

The responsibility of raising a child supercedes the desire to have fun. If it doesn't, then you're not old enough to have a child.

My wife's best friend from high school got pregnant and married right after high school... middle of Freshman year, actually. They're a great couple. I think they'd like to get out more, but there's nothing that Ken'd (her husband) rather do than stay home with their son.

I can imagine how hard it must be having to start a family that young. I got married young, but I'm glad we decided to wait before having kids. Removes a lot of stress. Its too bad that you're sister and brother-in-law aren't doing so hot. It always makes me sad when I hear about stuff like that.

It is hard when you start a family. I got pregnant at 18 and was married when I was 21. We were very lucky though, my mother would insist on babysitting so we could go out and enjoy ourselves. It was a big help having someone to turn to in times of stress.

That is so true. If only I could smack the in-laws hard enough to make them realize that.

You definitely have to make time for yourselves and at least do something fun once in awhile. Even like a one hour dinner or something just to keep the sparks flyin!
