Is it me, or is anandtech.com not accessible?

yeah it's been offline for some reason or another since about noon my time.. that's about 4 hours if I'm not mistaken...

Yes that IP address seems to work fine. it appears the Domain Name has been screwed with (hacked?). I mean, you know when you type the name, the address (www.whatever.com) goes to a server, and the server identifies the IP address. Anand's IP address is still there, and following it gives you the webpage.

Following the www.anandtech.com address you get another webpage which for me shows this:

"The system cannot find the file specified."

just a short little line of text, with "Error" on the titlebar of Netscape.

These are DNS errors guys. That's why I posted that link a couple posts up. That was posted by Tripleshot way earlier with a qoute from Zuni. Now if you understand DNS at all, then you understand what's going on.
