Is it me, or does Walmart beef taste strange?

I recently read (on the box) that beef at Walmart is injected with up to 12% of a saline-type solution. Could this explain it? Does anyone else notice a tremendous difference in the beef sold at Walmart, compared to other supermarkets?

Yeah, Wal-Mart beef is sick. My dad is always buying it and I'm always saying how nasty it is.
