Modern Love, Blue Jean, Suffragette City, Golden Years, Ashes To Ashes, Fashion, Heroes, Rebel Rebel, Time, Under Pressure, Diamond Dogs, Station To Station, Fame, Young Americans, Space Oddity, and China Girl are my favourites.

Ask Ornery. He's the Bowie expert. Long live the Thin White Duke! :D

I think "Andy Warhol" might be my favorite, but nearly anything from Hunky Dory or the Ziggy Stardust era is bitchen'.

Interestingly, Bowie is the wealthiest entertainer in Britain, surpassing even Paul McCartney, largely due to brilliant self-marketing and investments (e.g., he actually sold a release of public bonds a few years ago, backed by the royalties on his music). He is worth > $1 billion.

TVC 15 is a must! Also look for any songs off the Hunkey Dory album. Some other good songs Dennil didn't mention are The Supermen, Man who Sold the World, and Bombers. Good stuff!

What ever David is doing today, the rest of the music world WILL be doing in 2 to 3 years. So it has always been, so it will always be.

Hey Denis, I was just this afternoon thinking about how I'm not such a great fan of Bowie's since I haven't been buying his new stuff. Kind of a fair weather fan, eh?

He's written songs, performed and produced albums for many others. Just has talent oozing all over I guess. I particularly like the lyrics. Ziggy Stardust is #1 on my favorites. The Man Who Sold the World and Hunky Dory Are perfect examples of the lyrics I love. Diamond Dogs still gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. He was supposed to do a movie about both Ziggy and Diamond Dogs, but I guess that fell through. Hmmmm, really the movie for Diamond Dogs would be 1984. Ya gotta read George Orwell's 1984 before listening to the album. Brrrrrrrrr... just got goosebumps again :Q

After "Let's Dance", his stuff got really sketchy, BUT you must get "Earthling". Great tunes done with drum+bass techno. His latest, "Hours" blew the goat hard.

I think Ouside is his best album so far. Earthling is pretty good also but his best stuff is from the '60s and '70s.

Yup, David Bowie rocks! Anyone remember the band Tin Machine? Not his best, but pretty good.

Bowie Rocks! But I like offbeat music. He's one of those guys where there isn't much in-between...you either like him or not.

I'm also partial to music from the Alan Parsons Project, Tangerine Dream, etc.

Any other APP fans here?
