Both UPS and FedEx will send almost ANYTHING if you're not obvious about it.. I had friends in high school that would ship pot all the time and they were never found out.. It probby helped that they didn't write "OMG OMG OMG Pot Inside!" all over the box..

Pack your beer well and it'll get shipped no problem.

The company I work for does wine fulfillment, and I know they have to have a special type of account with Fedex. Shipping alcohol requires a company use a carrier that will ID upon delivery, so as to prevent minors from purchasing it. I would thus assume it is likely illegal to ship it by other means.

Yes it is legal, but it keeps dripping out of the envelop whenever I try.

i guess i will call fedex and see what their policy is as shipping beer as a gift. im not trying to send it to minors, we are all just old men who like to trade different beers with each other but are too old to do federal time or something for it.

Something like this would be cool. IF you are all home brewers or international.

Probably/maybe/depends on the state you are shipping to. Is this personal shipment? Import laws may not apply to non-commercial shipments. This is a big deal in the Wine industry, many wineries cannot ship to certain states due to state laws that prohibit the import of wine. I would suggest contacting the State Alcohol control board of the destination to determine what they allow.

List Alcohol Control Boards by state:

Some interesting Wine specific info (not sure if it applies to all alcohol):

My state is still one of the ones with liquor laws stuck in the 1920s.

i get the 24 pack (12 microbrew 12 international). if they were good i would drink them before i got the next shipment. IF i didnt really care for them i would have my friends over and they would come over and drink them heh.
