Ok, i OWN diablo 2's expansion disc and have the case, cd, and cd-key. Now, when i go to install the expansion, it fails on a certain file. My cd has a huge gouge. Now, would it be legal for someone to copy their cd and mail it to me so i could use it? Since i own the material.


and if so, someone make me a copy! im dying to get playing again!

Sometimes, companies will send you a new disk for a minimal fee. I'm also pretty certain that a burned copy of D2: LOD will not work properly without a hack.

That's fine. You own a license of the game.
You can make as many copies of the disk as you want and mail them to everyone you know.

In a manner of speaking it's the CD key you pay for, not the media.

I'm sure blizzard will replace your CD if you phone them and ask for a replacement media.
