Well, it IS the highest difficulty level. Should it be easier than the lower difficulties? ;)

...isn't that the point?

Oh yeah...

And I always play on the highest level but this game kicks your ASS!

And those timed missions...grrrrrrrrrrr!

But yeah, I tell my son all the time, why play on MEDIUM, make the game last as long as it can!

May sound corny, but these games make me value our soldiers even MORE for the freedoms they protect, they don't have SAVE POINTS in real war...

Well, honestly, COD is as close to soldering like Mario is to plumbing. There is nothing at all similar between the two besides that cover and concealment tends to be a good idea.

Why would anyone want to do some soldering in COD? Or any game for that matter

Eh... I wouldn't compare what you do in COD to what happens in war. If you want to do that, go play ARMA II.

But yea, I wouldn't call COD on veteran difficulty hard. Yes, it's difficult, but it's more of an exercise in patience. It's not fun for me at all, so I don't bother playing it.

ARMA II is a graphical joke

Graphical joke? You kidding me?

Yea, the game doesn't run well on lower end hardware, but once you have the horsepower to run it, it looks beautiful.

You can fault a lot of things about ARMA II, but graphics isn't one of them.

COD is more of a puzzle game than a shooter. You need to trial and error your way through a lot of sequences on the hard difficulties because there will be spots you're just instakilled. It's always been this way.

Remember COD is the game that brought you choppers with infinite helicopter door gunners. It's not exactly fair or realistic.

I was WTF when I found that in MW...I must've killed the guy 15 times, and the game glitched so the basement door wouldn't open.

He's saying your subject line should actually contain some clue as to what the thread will be about. "Is it just me..." is worthless, and it makes it damn hard to find a thread again or to check to see if a conversation was already started elsewhere.

In short, if your subject line doesn't include your subject then you're doing it wrong.

Anyone will die at least 1000 times before completing this title on *ANY* difficulty setting I'm sure of it.
