Or does this motherboard's ability to overclock get worse and worse every BIOS revision?

I can't even get it to POST at 2.6GHz anymore with the 1011-005 beta. 🙁

VCore fluctuates ± .025V of what I set it to.

The changelogs on Asus's site are absolutely worthless.

On that same note, what is the earliest BIOS I can revert to with an Opteron 165 and not experience any problems? The board shipped with 1007. Most of the better overclocks on this board were with 1005 and 1006. However, I'm a bit lacking on backup options if something goes sour.
 
Well, passive cooling on the NB can only let you OC so far.

But on the BIOS note, not sure, I've only had the premium version for a week or two until I switched to a lanparty.
