or do girls seem to notice you more when you have a girlfriend?

Maybe i just notice them looking at me and not me looking at them. My GF isant even here at school with me, but i seem to notice more girls being nice.....
 
It's not just you, it's a real effect. You are typically more desirable if women know that you are taken.
 
Women care more when you don't. When you couldn't care less, they all of a sudden want you. When you show that you want them, they don't want anything to do with you.

When you have a GF, you are more at ease around other girls and are less likely to appear wanting. This turns them on for some sick reason.

And they wonder why they keep ending up with guys who treat them like crap...
 
Yes,

#1. They feel comfortable knowing that you wont try to hit on them because you all ready have a special someone.

#2. It's interesting to talk about a relationship to an opposite sex without having sexual tensions involved.

Maybe it's because being in a relationship usually forces your to clean up your act a bit and you're not as nervous around other women as well (you're not always trying to score).. Like I notice that I shave much more frequently and make sure that I'm wearing clean clothing on a constant basis now that I'm in a relationship... I'm also not afraid of being social with women because I don't really care what they thing of me.. For example, a close friend of mine now is one of those girls (tall, blonde, skinny) that I would have NEVER approached before being in a relationship.. Since I wasn't looking to "get some" I had no problem just chatting with her.. Hard to explain but it's not a simple thing where girls have ESP and know you're taken - YOU are acting differently and probably smell better too
