For those of you that have to subject to a urine test, a little advice for you:

Contrary to assumed belief; drinking large amounts of water right before the test will not help you out immediately. Water takes longer to go through your system.
If you just happen to have a soda machine around, grab a Lipton tea and chug a couple of those. I find that tea causes that urination urge to hit faster over water.

Those random tests in the military were fun. They have to see the pee leave your body so they're really watching. After filling up the cup, I'd set it on the sink to wash my hands and make sure there was some water on my hands when I picked the cup up. Then I'd hand it with "liquid" on the outside of the cup to the monitor and say "Oops. Spilled a little". That would really piss them off.

I've had to take pre-employment and random piss tests for 20 years, and fortunately, it's never been a problem for me. On the occasion when I didn't know in advance, I usually just ask for some water to drink until things are ready to flow...Hell, if they want to watch, (which sometimes they do) fine with me...just stand back so you don't get splashed...😀
I've been on several jobs, where a vial of clean urine is worth $50...always someone willing to pay, and someone willing to take their money...THAT'S why they want to watch you piss...the temperature thing is fairly easy to beat, but not when they're standing right there...

try a military urine test....they stand there and watch your tool the entire time you're at the urinal. I consider this a huge invasion of privacy and have a really hard time providing the urine for them.

I have never done an illegal drug in my life, so I am not worried about that.

If you actually think you have a right to privacy, you certainly don't belong in the military...no idea what you might do for Uncle, but the vast majority of jobs afford you little to NO privacy, and boot camp certainly gives you no chance for privacy...

Most of the time I'm ready to go. Other times I just have to let one rip before it'll happen. Especially if I think that it will cause the person next to me some discomfort or embarrassment.

30 mL? That's nothing! For the tests I need to do they need 150mL (so they can split it into 2 samples) with a minimum specific gravity (ie it can't be too dilute). I've only had to provide a second sample once thank god
