Why is Intel never discussed in hardware recommendations?

It is....I dont know where you reed reviews but I recommend them several times a week..

Biostud is right though and since this site is so pro gaming it is not hard to see plenty of threads only promoting AMD cpus...I for one think HT has a place, currently (multitasking of cpu intensive apps).....I for one also can accept Intel is the leader in multimedia encoing apps as well...If ppl come to a thread with those things in mind I wont hesitate to suggest INtel...

Well, I think that even gaimg aside, the AMD chips currently run much cooler, and with dual-core coming up, I think the HT boost will not be in the picture as much. At the moment, unless you want maximum encoding speed, and can put up the with heat, AMD is the only way to go.
