Are there more and more commercials on TV then there were like 2 years ago? I'm watching TV now and I'm just seeing commericals after commercials after commercials and it's driving me insane. Whats worse is that I would normally be watching HBO but HBO doesn't have the sopranoes any more or no new movies... I would so much rather pay extra for every channel I watch and NOT have commercials then get it cheaper with commercials.

I don't want to have to subcribe to TIVO. I have an ATI AIW card and was wondering if there is software that can work in conjuction with it so I can skip commercials.
you can't just skip a commercial...unless you want to use uberhax and fast forward what they've got playing at your cable provider

UGH, the reason WHY I don't want to subscribe to TIVO is because if I cancel them, then I CAN'T do SH!T WITH THE BOX.... IT'S USELESS TO ME! God you guys are so dumb, if I cancel the "more expensive cable" it doesn't really effect me except the fact that I can't watch cable with out commericals...

IIRC the tivo has a feature that SKIPS commercials. So what I would do with my AIW card is use it with a HTPC, have all my shows recorded for me and when I watch them, I can just skip the commercials.
