Is it just me or nfl.com is a steaming pile of cow dung?

The site is worse than a freaking virus. Slow. Ads laden. Popups galore. Videos fail to load on some pages. It seems like they're using 20 different content providers. I would have thought that Goodell himself programmed the site.

I just opened it, I have ABP, I didn't see anything special, not anything that all the other sites don't have... maybe visiting all those forearm and wrist exercise sites have infected your computer...

Firefox? Try a few videos. Also, try in Explorer.

So you're using Firefox and have no issues, whatsoever? Do you have noscript as well or just the noob issued ABP?

NFL.com sucks, the videos are always slow as hell to load up, the site is sluggish and its annoying that continuous play always defaults on.

We just don't have crappy computers.

” let's design a website that runs smoothly for computers with 16GB of RAM”. Sure. So, are you using Firefox with noscript?

Kinda funny how I don't have any issues with any other websites, except nfl.com

I was watching the thursday night NFL game on the NFL network last night at the sports bar.

I could not believe that the NFL network doesn't show what down it is, and how many yards to go.

Being a sports bar, the audio was incomprehensible because of the noise. It doesn't really matter though. Not being able to show the most basic information on the screen makes watching the game nearly impossible.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks NFL.com is a POS. It's slow even for my overclocked 4Ghz quadcore processor with 12GB of RAM.

This is exactly what happens when you don't hire the best people to do the job. They probably half assed and chose an agency not capable of producing a better site.

I hate how the damn ads just show in the video windows with no way to stop them playing or adjust their volume, like fucking dog riding monkeys designed it.

The mobile app is even worse than the website. The only applies I have that scroll smoothly. Ever.

ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com. Ect. All major sports sites are ad riddled piles of crap that dedicate about 20% of the page to actual content.

I use IE9, I actually prefer it, I used to use Chrome, tried Firefox. I know the in thing to do is to make fun of IE and show how cool you are by pointing out you use a non-MS browser, but not being in the cool club is just something I'll just have to live with.

IE9 has zero problems with the site for me. Video loaded in a few seconds, the page pops right up, etc. It does look a bit 'busy' for me, but from a functional standpoint it works fine on my computer with IE9.

ESPN has some content I want but the page loads are long, autoplay refuses to remain "off" and you get to watch one video (after sitting through an ad), then another ad, so on, I guess I shouldn't bitch, it is free and some stories I do want to read/watch so I just put up with it..
