Is it just me or is this picture funny?

Bike path meets train tracks. As if a train chugging by would not be enough to stop you from attempting to cross the tracks, they put a yield sign there.

I guess it's not funny, if I had to explain it. :p Guess you had to be there ;)

The tracks go through the pavement, you just can't see them since they're sunk in.

Is the funny the fact that it's a pedestrian/bike path, and not an actual road?

Exactly! :D :D

MrPickins is the winner :p

Point is: if you need a sign to tell you to yield to a train, you probably deserve the "darwin award" you would get by attempting to cross the tracks. :)

I thought it was funny that there are 2 yield signs, one on each side. If two bikers are there at the same time from both directions, who yields to whom?
