Is it just me or is the Register getting really crappy lately?

I've noticed that ever since The Register fired Mike Magee it hasnt seemed to have much in the way of useful information anymore. In fact their news seems downright bland and outdated oftentimes.

Mike Magee seems to be making The Inquirer into what the register used to be however.

Any thoughts?

I'd agree with you, the Register has gone downhill since Mike was canned, but since he's got the Inquirer there's really no reason to visit the Register. They'll die off soon I hope.
