Pop Up Stopper Free edition.

it likes to prevent me from opening new browsers because it thinks that it's a popup.
so now I have to hold down CTL in order to open up new browsers

It's a good program, and I'd much rather have to hold down Ctrl than close 50 million popups.

I use Another IE Popup Killer and it works well. I have been using it forever and it is only 40k.

Damn, if I paid that much for a pop-up killer, I'd expect it to come with mauve armrests. ;)

(Cookie goes to anyone who gets the joke) :D

I like the popup stopper, Yes you have to hit cntrl for to open new browser windows but so what. At least my work computer doesn't get bogged with tons of pop up ads.

PopUpCop is pretty nice.

But those evil flash ads still get through. I should personally boycott all sites that run those dirty ads that fly all over your screen and hide the close button (and wait to make it appear).

I use Pop up Dummy not free $ 29 but it works all the time! More than I can say about some others. PC Mag gave it a Editors Choice award. I find the free stuff usually does not cut it!

Firebird...totally free and I've not had ANY popups whatsoever since installing it. Certainly cuts it IMO.

i used a version of PopUpCop for IE, really good. But otherwise I wouldn't PAY for a popupblocker.
Months ago, i Switched to Firebird. Never have to worry about it again.
