Is it just me, or is Mushkin memory crap?

I recently bought a pair of Muskin Redline memory sticks for my computer. When I got them, my PC wouldn't even POST with either of them. I then tried them in an old ECS K7S5A system I have and it managed to POST with one but not the other. So I RMA'd them.

Last week I received the replacements - different model number but same basic specs. While I managed to boot with these, they failed memtest, even at the most conservative settings I could dial in. Today I built a new system based on a Neo4-F motherboard and tried this memory. Same results as with my Platinum.

The thing is, I've used Kingston and OCZ memory in my system without a hiccup - runs like clockwork. Stick this Mushkin stuff in and it chokes. I'm really at a loss to explain it.

BTW, I bought this memory from Monarch, and when I initially reported the problem to them I was told that they won't replace the memory or refund me in full. So I have been dealing with Mushkin support who are telling me that the problems are not with their memory because how could I get so many bad sticks. Grrrrr! 🙁

Yeah, that's what I used to think too.
