Is it just me, or is Bluetooth flippin useless?

What a nice idea. Devices stay paired between uses. Not. Nothing ever stays paired. Ugh.

My phone and my headset have to be re paired to my laptop each and every single time I use them. They 'lose' each other and can't be reconnected without a new pairing.

Funny enough, my bluetooth mouse generally works fine, only needing to be re paired once a month or so...

I've never had to repair a bluetooth device that I can remember. I use my headset between my PS3 and my Phone without any problems. Same with 2 PS3 controllers, the Move controller, and the BT Remote.

i agree with the OP the only bluetooth device i have is my PS3 and TBH that would be better if it was not bluetooth

the BT mice and KBs we have on some comps at work lag like hell and are generally crap

Yeah, even though my BT mouse stays paired I didn't even touch on the god awful lag that mofo has...so slow!

Nope, BT is great. Our phones always stay paired with our head unit in the car. No issues with that.

I wish it supported A2DP, might need to upgrade.

I've had a Bluetooth mouse & GPS tracker paired with my laptop for about a year, never had a problem with it. It's just works every time. :hmm:

I agree. However, I did check the option to not remember information--that probably explains it LOL...

I've never used it. I've tried a few times, but it never works, so I've stopped trying.

I don't know how they fucked up BT so badly, supposedly there is a standard but real life result says BT device A will work with device B but not C. Makes absolutely no sense.

My bberry pairs with my VW Navi in like 5 secs every single time I get in the car. Never loses connection and i've had like hour long conversations on it before. Shrug

I use it to stream podcasts and internet radio from my phone to car stereo and it works great. I've used in the past to tether internet with my phone as well as kb and mouse. Its a good tech if you use quality equipment and set it up correctly.
