Is it just me or has 'King of the Hill' REALLY gone downhill?

I know Fox is airing a repeat, but all school year I worked Sunday nights so I never saw any evening TV.

I've watched King of the Hill the last few weeks...damn, this show sucks. It used to be funny. Can't believe they canned Family Guy and still air this prime time!

I never thought King of the Hill was ever THAT funny.. at least not the Simpsons/Family Guy kind of humour.. but it's not terrible.

I don't think it was a very long trip if it has. The show is funny at times, but never as entertaining as the Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, etc.

King of the Hill makes me cry.

It's one of the most horrible things on TV right now, and it's primetime. It keeps trying to be "serious" like some kind of sh!tty soap opera, what the fvck? He quit Beavis and Butthead to devote his time to this crap? Arg.

That show was pretty funny at first, but none of the charicters held their funny traits, its like they turned the show into a life lesson program. Family Guy/Simpsons/Futureama(spelling) are good because the stupidity is ALWAYS there.

I think the only episode of KOTH that I actually liked was where Bobby took a women's self-defense class and he'd scream "that's my purse" and kick people in their nuts.

KoTH was really only funny during the 1st season. After that it became a one-trick pony, just repeating the same jokes and situations over and over. It's amazing that it's lasted this long, but if it gets renewed for next year that'll probably be the end. It's running on vapor now. It's hard to comprehend what the Fox programming people are doing. Three of the freshest, funniest and most original comedies on the air, Futurama, Family Guy and Titus got shuffled around the schedule and eventually cancelled while swill like KoTH and Grounded for Life get renewed. No wonder they're still a 4th rate network.

Futurama: Great, geeky, awesome and funny as hell = cancelled
Family Guy: Not politically correct. Funniest show on the planet = cancelled
