I was browsing on ebay and I (not to any suprise) found people selling newspapers from September 11th for profit. for example: This guy wants 3k for a newspaper Is it just me or do you find it disgusting that people wish to always capitalize off such horiffic events. Even if these people don't manage to make any money I still find it wrong to sell a tragedy for personal gain.

this is a fine line... aren't many museums profiting from the collections of Nazi paraphenalia? I can see that collectors who value important pieces of history would also like to own something from Sept. 11th (well, 12th). Is it profiteering? I don't really think so.

People have profited off of the death of christ (lower case on purpose) for a thousand years. Do you think they will balk at making a dollar on the death of a few thousand money-grubbing yuppies (for wont of a better word)?

As long as some moron will pay, some moron will sell.
