Is it just me, or does Google suck now?

Anyone compared Google with the new MSN one? Don't even know the site for that, but I saw a news report a little bit ago.

Guess I'm looking for too many obscure things then.

Of course, I remember when Yahoo was useful....

It never has been good at finding specific items out of a million other websites with similar words. Its a great search site if you are willing to take any of those million websites. But narrowing it down from that isn't Google's strong point.

try the 'groups' button and search Usenet with your keywords. the past few months i found it a lot more accurate than just searching the web.

If anything, Google has gotten better. It can find anything I'm looking for usually on the first list of links it finds.

 Everything I find on google is on the first page. Anyone else having problems are not using good search terms. Heck 95% of the time I don't even need to use *any* special limiters or special search options if you get good search terms to begin with.
