Is it just me, or does AT kinda suck now?

Maybe it's just me, but Anandtech seems to have faded a bit . There's a lot less new posts, and a whole lot more advertisements, and the endless downtime for server maintenance is annoying. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this? And if this is true, where is everyone going?

I think he was referring to the fact that it's the Thanksgiving weekend (and also Black Friday). A lot of people are still staying with relatives or traveling back home.

well, there's a lot of posting, and a lot of it is shit. the technical forums can be decent, but the social ones are full of emptyquotes, one-word replies, bad jokes, lame memes (fail, I hate that shit) and cliches up the wazoo.

The forums have always been a little cliquey and 4chanish. Official ____ Clubs and empty posts are nothing new. People tend to view the past with rose-colored glasses. I still continue to find the things that drew me to the site and the forums in the first place, informative reviews, helpful informative threads in the dedicated forums and cool links in OT such as a few interesting astronomy lectures recently and tons of addictive flash games.
