Is it just me or do girls over analyze guys?

The girl I am seeing started reading a book called He's Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys. The author (a guy) needs to die!

The sad thing is...the author seems to assume a lot....

the guy MIGHT have a legit reason.....

or he might not....

you can't be 100 sure ever.

if you have to wait like 3 months..then yeah...

edit: and this is just my analyses of the book from reading the website.

lol, are you the youngest?
you must have a lot of feminine characteristics I bet

damn...this must explain why I love chick flicks so much!

It actually makes sense!

<-- grew up with 2 sisters (and no...you can't have pics)

Same.

And yes. I'll admit to the feminine characteristics bit.

For example, my mouth is watering at the thought of Ikea opening so I can get a new bedspread.

lol, I have a slight ikea addiction. But I don't think appreciation of good design is necessarily a feminine characteristic.

Yes, they do. I tell my girlfriend all the time to just stop thinking about it. They take every little action, overanalyze it and create all kinds drama over it.

I'm not a huge fan of Jeff Foxworthy, but he nailed it ith one of his bits...

"Guys want a beer & we want to see sumpthin' naked."

Honestly, beyond that I don't have a lot of higher cognitive functioning.

If necessary, I'll skip the beer😉

(Although getting a Valentine's Day e-card from the chick with a Harley & a Jag was cool today, made me smile.)

Sure it isn't.... You keep telling yourself that.

In related news, it appears that guys, particularly with feminine characteristics, overanalyze themselves.

if it's a feminine characteristic, then so be it. I just don't think it is.

My wife doesn't over-analyze me, and never did. However I've been told I over-analyze everything, so maybe it's just by comparison.

Just thought I'd let you know...guys also overanalyze girls too

Some of my friends and I think that they are very complex to understand.

If I could meet a simple woman, i'd jump at the chance.

Men typically attempt to attribute logic and basic rational thinking to women. This is incorrect, the only thing logical assumption about a woman's actions is that they are devoid of logic. That is why men fail to understand them, they try to apply rationality to their actions when there usually is none.

Women attempt to attribute complex hidden meanings to men's actions, when in reality there is no hidden meaning. We are not that complicated. But they're so used to solving complicated overly convoluted puzzles for themselves that when presented with a simple A->B scenario that is virtually everything a man does, they assume its actually the most complicated mess of hidden meanings and mixed signals they have ever come across. And they jump at the challenge of figuring it out.

This is all a crude generalization of course.

Damn it's worthless without pics :frown:

Damn, I thought it was just me!

"Baby, are you mad at me?"
"What? Why would I be mad at you?"
"Well, you haven't looked at me in a few minutes."
"I'M READING."

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I think every guy has experience with this. LOL

Speaking of "women" and "analyzing", one time my wife sent out a resume that said that she had experience working with a "protocol anal sizer". Suprisingly, she received no feedback on that particular resume.
