Is it just me, or are vehicles right now for the most part...rather..blah?

Other than some nice large trucks that are full featured, car wise, nothing really lately has been floating my boat... anyone else think or feel industry is running out of steam (creativity) with some value, and practicality in there. Sure they are safer etc, but is just seems as though each of the cars, unless you crank up the price to 40-50gs, lacks something significant, either performance, fit/finish, aesthetics, technology, some safety and of course economy for fuel.

Maybe time for someone very innovative to come in with solid engineering and design and attempt to do what the others have not been doing?
