Is it just me or are these pictures amazing?

Interesting composition, but I'm not into the heavily HDR-processed look. In fact I think it looks really bad. If you want your pictures to look like that it's a matter of bracketing exposures and learning to use an HDR package like Photomatix. The guy does have an eye for colour and composition though.
 
Visually arresting. They look like photorealistic painting to me.
