I just bought some RAM not too long ago from googlegear.com and now the same RAM is about $20 more. And poeple have been saying corsair has been going up in price. Are prices going to keep rising?
No biggie RAM companies are slowing/stopping production. They are trying to inflate the price for the Christmas season. They do this every year pretty much.
I'm glad too... I got 2 x 256mb of Crucial PC2100 RAM for $27 each shipping included!!! This was almost exactly 1 year ago... I also got a Samsung 512mb pc2700 for $90 shipped I'm smiling cause I can sell the crucial for double its value today
1. Holidays
2. Unstable market pricing can't last this long without shutting down another fab or two. We lost two companies when 128MB was down to $1.20.
3. Profit margins are unbearable.
