Is it just me, or are online retailers always lacking in certain areas?

I've been looking for one online store that I can buy roughly $80-90 in items from. The retailer that seems to have most of what I want is Best Byte Computers, Inc. But when I looked for a 80mm Panaflo M1A, they didn't have any - they had L1A, H1A, and U1A though! They also didn't have 120mm M1As.

So I looked around for a while. Xoxide doesn't have black fan grills, and their prices seem a little higher than other places I've checked.

Newegg is the same way - they don't carry everything I'm looking for.

Same with Cooler Guys, Tank Guys, FrozenCPU, ...

If I could actually find a retailer that has the missing parts, I'd go ahead and make two orders, but then the other retailer has shlt-for-shipping and charge what the item costs! All my items from Best Byte would cost $6 to ship with 2-3 arrival time. From other retailers, it's $8-$13 for one item that weighs 1/3 of my total Best Byte order weight!

Can we make a list of retailers, so I can check them out? I know there are tons of them that I don't know about; maybe one will have what I'm looking for without gouging me on shipping.

There should be a sticky with this info in it.

ZZF -- Vantec Nexus $6 more, no fan grills, no Panaflo, no NB-1 ...
TigerDirect -- No fan grills, no Panaflo, ...
mWave -- No Nexus, no Panaflo, no fan grills, no NB-1
SidewinderComputers -- I was really liking them, until I saw that the same black fan gaurd that is 99 cents at Best Byte is $2.50 here. It makes a big difference when you are buying 10 of them. I mean, they had all the Panaflo a guy could want ... but they didn't have the NB-1 or the Nexus.

I was going to suggest SVC.com and jab-tech.com - you can work with svc on shipping, give them a call. And jab-tech will soon be moving to your neck of the woods (near OKC) so shipping might be cheaper, Priority Mail for sure.

these companys are FOR PROFIT companies are they not?
Thus it only makes sense that some would offer things at a lower price while some would also offer different things at a lower price does it not?
Thats the way it is.

Nobody is forcing anybody to shop at these FOR PROFIT companies!

Don't be an idiot and bring profit margins into this. Best Byte has the best shipping rates and prices on everything I want. They still exist don't they?

The only reason I asked is because there were 2 items that Best Byte didn't carry, and I wanted another place that carried the items and didn't charge $8 to ship one fan ...

Really, I ordered 30 items at Best Byte and it would have been $5 shipping.

NewEgg is NOT Best Byte!!
Profit is what keeps these companies from going under!!
Without profit a companie would have to close!!
Again-- I love doing buissness with NewEgg and I know they are very customer service oriented!!
Personally for me Price doesn`t matter that much!!
What matter is the quality of service i get when I pick up the phone with a question or a problem!!

Well, if you were to order from a retailer that has what you need but has higher prices than other ones for the same items, wouldn't the money saved on the cheaper items compensate for the higher prices on other items?

I do agree though, there isn't one single retailer that has everything you need at the lowest price, I don't think they'll ever be a retailer that will though.
