Is it in ESPN's contract that they must have lousy games every sunday night?

First off, it seems like 2/3 of their games are AFC games, which is boring as it is, but why do they always have sucky games? I might actually watch if they had a decent game once every while. Ohh, and Mike Patrick is the worst. That whole ESPN announcing crew is sux.
