No, a friend of mine is getting nasty e-mails and she wants to know if they're coming from the same person. Then this other dude is telling her he can hack into the guy's computer if she gives him his IP address and I'm like, uhh, sure ya can.

But... I was just curious if it was illegal to conceal the origin of an e-mail in case that's what someone is doing to send these e-mails to my friend.
