ie. i would buy used or more likely new but used only because i opened the box and voided the warranty..

and then sell them and offer my own warranty. can i do that?

im trying to think of a reason why it would be illegal. but it has to be. i just can't think of it now. maybe in a few years.

😕
im sure Dell would not appreciate that. of course, maybe they wouldnt care. i would try it and find out 😉

If you're going to offer your own warranty prepare for the world of pain. I hope you have a legal insurance, you'll need it.

It's not as complicated as it sounds. I will only be reselling one model - their 3000 series. Which are very basic and only worth a couple hundred dollars. I figure after working with hundreds of these computers I will start to get to know them pretty well.

Essentially I am using Dell for my "budget" computer line. I can't make computers to compete w/ their budget ones so I'll just sell Dell 3000's as the budget comps.
