saying that it's legal in Texas means just that: It's legal in Texas. It says NOTHING about the other states.

I know that most people would make that assumption, but it's not entirely valid.

Ok, that's a fair statement. But this isn't rocket science... it was a simple question, and if a simple answer can be given by making an intelligent assumption based on the previous statements, why argue about it?

I've had my eye on this white horse in a fenced in area just down the road... lol... j/k.

It stemmed from me and a friend discussing some out of the ordinary foods we've tried... things like buffalo and elk came up, and I asked if he had ever tried horse since he's tried A LOT more things than I have. We both found it amusing because it's odd to think of an animal like that being eaten... sorta like a cat or a dog. Then he wondered if it was just frowned upon, or actually illegal.

when we changed religion on the year 1000 from pagan (odin, thor and those guys) to christianity we were allowed a few old habits even though they went against what the church was saying, one of them was eating horse meat

Your attitude in this thread has just been very poor. People answered your question and you attacked them. Then you changed your story. And you've done your share of namecalling too.

It never has been allowed... since it falls under abusive and hateful. I find it... unfortunate that so many things that violate just that ONE paragraph are simply ignored by moderators here.

And it's people like you who make this forum such a hostile place.

They should make you a moderator. You could rule with an iron fist, and crack down on anything that might be remotely offensive to anyone. Someone wants to put vertical doors on their Honda Civic? You'd better not speak out against them, or Jeff7181 Mod will ban you!

I agree. The intellectually elite populace of ATOT is what makes this such a hostile place for dumbasses. Most people on ATOT are a cut above the average man. A cut above the guy who says, "I want to try something, stick your hand out." A cut above the guy who fakes a suicide note. A cut above the guy who puts vertical doors on a Honda Civic. So those people get the brunt of our fury.

I don't consider ATOT to be a hostile place whatsoever. To me, it's like a neighborhood bar. I come here to relax, everybody knows your name, and you know everybody. Oh, and Zim serves up the :beer:s. :D

 This statement just shows me you still don't get my point...but im done. I thought I spelled it out, but I guess I didn't...oh well.

I'm tempted to make a "Jeff7178 For Moderator" thread in Forum Issues. No one here is more convinced that you'd make a great moderator than you. In fact, I think you might be the only one who's convinced.

You might be right... actually... after thinking about it... you're wrong. Even I'm not convinced. After a couple days I'd get sick of suspending or banning people. Hey maybe once I start learning to program (I made a thread about it in the software forum :D) I'll create a much better filter for forums like this to weed out the posts that violate the Terms and Conditions here and become rich! :D

On the other hand... I never claimed to be intellectually elite.
