Is it hard to wake up in the morning?

Depends on what I am waking up for, and what time I wake up at. One most school days when I wake up early, I feel like crap though.

If I sleep till I wake up myself I feel great. I'm usually a bit slow waking up via alarm clock.

I feel like crap no matter what amount of sleep I get. Is there anything that can help me?

There are a lot of sleep disorders, such as Apnea, that could account for that.

I sleep roughly from 9pm to 5am on weekdays, and roughly 9pm to 7am on weekends. Typically, I will awake feeling very refreshed. However, several days per week I get a substantial boost of energy by working out. Non workout days seem to drag on longer and I lack a lot of initiative to get things done.

Every morning I wake up wishing I could live near a big hilltop so I could hop out of bed and run across the hill singing like Julie Andrews. My life is that good. Try singing like that every morning; it's habit forming.

Suicidal with the water bed of 15 years. Pretty good after I ditched with water bed for a custom made Holder mattress.

Feel like crap 99.999% of the time waking up to an alarm clock, even if I got 8 hours.

I've threatened friend's lives in my sleep when they tried to wake me up.

If I owned a hammer, I would need a new alarm clock every day. It usually takes 15 minutes for my brain to boot up. While living on campus, I had acquired the bad habit of sleeping thru fire alarms (mostly false alarms). The only exception is waking up to phone calls... for some reason my brain goes into overdrive whenever I wake up to a ringing phone.

For me, waking up is easy if the sun is up. So, in the summer, I'm up and wide awake before my alarm clock. But in the winter, like now, I beat the hell out of my alarm clock every morning.

I always jump out of my lofted bed to turn off my alarm clock, but half the time I climb back up into bed. I'm tired no matter when I wake up, and it takes me atleast an hour to fall asleep. I'm think I'm going to ask the doctor for advice.

Is it hard to wake up in the morning?

nope, I have a cute little alarm clock that goes off about every 3 hours or so (see sig)

She always manages to get my butt out of bed around the same time every morning, roughly 7am

it takes me two hours to wake up, no matter what. If i need to wake up @ 11am, then I must set my alarm to 9am no matter what time I sleep the previous night. Ihave no idea why this is.

Work from home so it's not that bad... I do wake up 2 hours earlier than I have to so that I can drive my wife to the train station. I've done it every workday for (checks calendar)... 4 years now... gotten used to it.
