Is it hard to get a decent paying graphic designer job?

well i go to SCAD (savannah college of art and design) and i was just wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to get into a a graphic design job that makes decent money so i can live pretty comfortably and w/out money worries

amazon.com is a good place for designers, unfortunately i only know of position open for seasoned people

as of today, the jobs for graphic design might be difficult to find one since there are so many graphic designers. so good luck on searching for one unless you call it a competition. one of my friend is majoring in graphic design and she says she doesn't care about having hard time looking for job, she is looking for a competition to get a graphic design job.

i was about to major in graphic design but i changed my major from architecture to industrial design. so much better.

well i'm saying after i get a degree in graphic design. i'm guessing i will be pretty damn good when i'm all done with school

so is it hard to find a job

Yep, it is a very competitive field right now. SCAD is a great college so it should help when applying for a job.

yeah, resume helps, "graduated from SCAD? oh sh!t, that's one of top art schools--i'm gonna hire that guy!"
