Jelly:

You're in Florida, not Aruba, right?

The weather is perfect. About 50 degrees here in Orlando this a.m. Great running weather for sure. Of course since I'm a fair skinned, blue-eyed, Yankee, 50 degrees is my kind of weather.

I once did a 10 mile run with a running club in minus 5 degree F weather with about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Great fun and not really that bad.

In Antarctica I've heard they break out the short sleeve shirts and play softball if the temp gets over 0 degrees F.

No, it's just regular freezing here. Sucks too, now I have to remove the frost from my windows every morning before going to work.

Well, right now (9:47am) it's a nice 31 F (or about 1 C) in SLC,Utah.

Last night it went sub-zero in Park City,Utah. The main location for the 2002 Olympics..

It started getting pretty damn cold here last week. What sucks is that I got a heating oil delivery yesterday and it cost $1.46 a gallon for a total of $213.89.

chess9,

LOL! And I suppose it was uphill both ways? You seniors are funny folk.

Call me the grinch but I suspect this will not be a mild winter. Call it a hunch but I'm thinking Austin TX will be under a foot of snow come Dec. 25th.

Elita1,

One thing about snow, it's quite beautiful. If mother nature would allow both snow and warm temps. at the same time, I would be a very happy camper. :)
