...without being mistaken for being flirtatious? I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I just want to confirm.
Flirtatious? I thought the word you were going to use was gay.
OK, this made me LOLIsn't there a middle ground between "Nice earrings. Let's fuck." and "Oh my god Rachel those amethyst studs complement your blouse so fabulously!"?
If you can comment on shoes, dresses, and other clothing without coming off as flirtatious, you can make the earrings work. I've managed all but the earrings before--never had the occasion to test that one.
No it's not.
Just talking to a female that you don't know generally comes off as 'flirtatious.' Women are vain, crazy, and think all men that make contact with them are after sex.
/general observation
The earrings in question were small skull-and-crossbone studs, fwiw.
flee!
Flirtatious? I thought the word you were going to use was gay.
Straight guys don't comment on women's earrings...PERIOD
"Wow, I like your earrings/perfume/necklace! What is it called?"
She will think you are gay or it's for your girlfriend.
i'm confused. what's wrong with coming across as flirtatious?
