Depends if you want to spend more money on a completely new system when "grantsdale" comes out.

I'd say its worth going to springdale if you have anything < 845pe...

I wouldn't call Grandsdale just around the corner. That is still another year away in late Q1 or Q2 of 2004. So, considering many people upgrade once a year or so (well, I do at least, maybe not everybody), this is a great upgrade.

Isn't AMD going with a new platform with its Athlon64 when they come out? So even AMD users will have to replace MB. Am I correct with this?
