UPC removed from box may cause the box to become unsealed. If unit inside the box has seperate seal, then term sealed is questionable. With electronics inside a sealed static package, I would accept it as sealed.

This may be OT for the FOR SALE forum but when someone sells a item as new, should they indicate if the UPC has been removed?
I would consider it new and sealed as long as the actual seal that holds the box shut is in place and undamaged. I could care less if the UPC is there rebates are not worth the trouble sometimes. But if your selling the unit it would be nice to let the person know its not there.
If I sell a sealed box w/o a UPC, I state "UPC removed" just to avoid any potential problems. I don't feel that a seller is required to state it though. After all, this is a resale situation. You're not buying from a real retailer.
