I've recently began to wonder regarding this, since the newer Palermo Semprons and the "Venice" S754 chips are out, is it the motherboard, the chipset or the CPU that limits S754 to a 4x HTT multiplier?
If it's simply the chipset, then the folks like myself which have a newer nforce4-based S754 motherboard should be able to jack the HTT multi up to 5x correct? I know my motherboard's bios has the option to do so...
I'm just trying to see if there's anything else limiting this.
