Is it Buy.com or UPS' fault?

I ordered the Hitachi CM751 19" Monitor from Buy.com 3 days ago. Their tracking system shows shipped but this is the only activity listed:

July 23, 2001 --------- 8:00:03 PM ---------- US PICKUP MANIFEST RECEIVED

Why the heck hasn't it been picked up yet?

Sometimes they can miss a scan and it'll be in route, but it won't show up. Give it a few days to get to the next place and see if it gets scanned again.

This happened to a package I was sending to Buy.com (they sent me an extra package). Apparently it's not getting scanned on the way to you. I emailed UPS, and they said if Buy.com didn't get the package within a week or so, to go back to where I shipped it from and tell them to tell UPS to initiate a trace.

Supposed to be rare according to UPS.

Stuff usually arrives on my doorstep before buy.com updates the shipping info. Normally it takes only takes a day or two (ground) from the time I order, which is plenty fast for me.

general rule is that it is most likely UPS's fault.....
