I've got some blisters from a burn on my hand. Is it better to pop them with a sterile needle or to leave em closed?

If you pierce it, you can let it harden as a callus, rather than come off as a tender wussy spot![]()

Why risk infection for an old wives' tale.

No infection if you do it correctly. I used to do it all the time when I rowed. Pop it after practice with a pin, keep it dry during the day, by the next morning it would be hard and stuck back. Don't pop it and the next day you'd have an even larger blister.

mm, i always end up draining the puss out of them but keeping the skin intact. if i don't do it then, it's going to happen sometime during the day and it'll probably hurt more.

Branham's family thinks her immune system was compromised by the steroid shots she took for back pain.

I always pop them. There is nothing sicker than some dude with a giant whitehead on his nose that he refuses to pop.
