Is it best to change your screen resolution to 720x480 before watching DVDs?

It seems to give a better picture to me...do any of you know if it's useful to change to this resolution?

not sure how you're doing that... but in any case, it will look better than making a dvd window go fullscreen because there's not resampling... meaning, it's not trying to fil in information that doesn't exists

however, it should technically look no different than having it in a 720x480 window (besides smaller)
