is it bad to use a 100 watt bulb in a 60 W lamp?

Compact FL lamps use very poorly designed drivers that can wreak total havoc with rf in the power lines too. Most people will not notice this but it's there. Stock up on your tinfoil hats. Make them out of copper foil - aka copperfoil. And don't forget to equalize the friggin' planes!

Hmm ..... Today I feel evil.
Go ahead and do it.
I'm assuming you want to burn your house down and the method you have chosen is rather unpredictable, however, it's still a very good method.

You might want to like, also put some paper directly on top of it. That way, if the top of the lamp doesn't flare up as it's melting, at least the paper will. That will increase the chances to Burn It Fvcking Down.
